Driver's door lock fails to make all other door locks cycle......what is it?? 200 1989

I have to push the driver's door lock up and down a couple of times before the other door locks will automatically cycle. Is this a bad relay?? How do I fix this?

    There are separate switches - one operated by the key, the other by the interior lock knob. If one causes the overall lock/unlock function to work, but the other doesn't, then that latter switch is the only problem. When the 81's lock knob quit, pulling the door panel and the plastic cover over the switch revealed a broken wire right at the switch. A bit of soldering and all has been well for three years.
