How do I remove the inside door panel on the 98 S90 to repalce the side rear view mirror?

My 1998 S90's driver side rear view mirror is broken and in trying to replace it, I got stuck removing the inside door panel. There are no visible clips or srews and I am afraid to damage it by not using the proper steps. Any detailed help in removing the panel is greatly appreciated.

If all you are removing is the rear view mirror, why not just remove the black plastic triangle where the mirror is attached? It "pops" straight off, the back has 3 plastic prongs which fit into the metal holes behind it. The bolts for the rearview mirror are right behind it.

I was tentative in doing so because the lower part was slightly overlaped by the panel, so breaking it seemed a strong possibility. Also, how do you get to the connector? Is there enough slack to pull it up that far?

Thanks,
Rene

Same as the door panel on the 940: see the 700/900 FAQ under "features" button above.
