MegaSquirt question 140-160

I feel kind of stupid asking this but I keep seeing things about the MS system and I have no idea what everyone is talking about. Is there a link to a site that has a lot of useful info?

I do not think I would probably convert at this time since I just installed new injectors into my 164 (ouch!) but I would like to know more about this system. Thanks

I installed a megasquirt system on a 1984 BMW 528i with the M30 engine. I replaced the bosch controller and used all of the bosch injectors and sensors. It worked great. It's easier to set up if you have a wide band oxygen sensor with data logging capability.

They have two sites now.. Don't know what site the other post gave you, but I use www.msefi.com

How about answering a question for me (I'll post it separately too if necessary.) What's the difference between a turbo head for a b230f engine and a non-turbo head? Is it just the camshaft?

I believe the B230FT head uses sodium-filled exhaust valves (to help cool the valves) whereas the non-turbo doesn't. I know that is the case on the B21FT heads. However I've used a non-turbo head on a turbo engine and I never burnt any valves.
