Anyone know which vehicle this is from? 120-130

I originally posted this on the 140-160 board and the Volvo guru there thought maybe this was off of a 120 series. Does anyone know which vehicle this is off of? It measures 3" (77 mm) )across the VOLVO wording and 2 3/8" (62 mm) from the top of the circle to the bottom. I believe this is a grill ornament isn't it? The 164 has one on the '72 model but it is larger. Thanks Board!

I'd have to agree with the 140 answer.
Here is the 164 emblem. Notice the size, different slash location, and completely solid emblem.

The slash it is sitting on is actually from the 240 grille, not the 164 slash which was much wider. I removed the black plastic 240 emblem, filed down the frame it sits in, and attached the 164 emblem. Thinking about repainting it black now that I look at it again.

You found that badge on the grill of Amazons, 121 and 122 with b18 engine.

You can see a example in place on my rojo 121 (sorry, lights on):

While the front looks the same as badge on Amazon, the back side is slightly different (on an Amazon, the 2 pins are located directly behind the first "V" and the last "O" in word VOLVO)

Also, my badge is flat, the one in photo has much more depth to it....

Wait a minute, that badge has cuts for set it over a diagonal bar. Amazonīs badges are solid, without cuts. Then I believe that badge can't come from a Amazon.

Checking the book "Volvo 1927-1988" (Volvo Car Corp.), on page 57 I found a photo of the Volvo 164 (1969). That model present that badge over a diagonal bar on the grille (and that was the luxe model on that decade), see photo.

Prewar Volvo badge grill was the iron symbol as a part of a diagonal bar (no characters).
Amazons has a solid badge, no diagonal cuts.
From 240 model, the badge goes to the "square" version.
Then, that badge will be come from a 14x or 16x model.

    Agree with Cameron 120-130

I pulled this off a '68 or '69 144 in the junkyard and put it on my truck. It is definitely the same ornament as is in your picture.
