Those pesky small gauges... 200 1990

I'm not sure what model 240 it was, it definitely wasn't the turbo though, but I was able to grab a 3-gauge pod, voltmeter, 5-bar oil pressure, and small tachometer for only $10!!! I've already installed the small voltmeter underneath the small clock. I already have a large tach. in my instrument cluster, so i'm not sure what I want to do with the small tach. Hell, i'm not even sure if I know how to install it.

So i'm just throwing out a question to y'all. Better off keeping my large tach, or installing the small tach instead? Should I try selling it? Any opinions are appreciated.

Are you referring to the small tachometer?

I had a small tach in my '92, but didn't really use it. It is just too small. Kinda cool to look at, though. Finally replaced it with one of those RARE flat-black large tachs found in post-88 240s. I use my two small gauge holes for a small clock (the Volvo/VDO small clocks are amazingly accurate) and a voltmenter.

Nice find but the small tach is kind of useless. Too hard to read. try craigslist.

Keep the large tach, the small ones aren't that accurate and are hard to read. If you want to sell it you could try posting it in the classifieds. Ebay is another alternative but after paying their fees its not worth the trouble. Sounds like you made a good find on the 3 gauges.
