If you want to have a windshield place install a 92 windshield in an 85 do they use the 85 seal or what seal is used?

    The new style has the new seal attached to the glass, I can't remember if it is '92 or '93 that has it, but i ordered a '93 for my '84 and it looks great.

      The new windshield/seal design started with the 91 model year. It's definitely an improvement.

    My understanding is they'd have to use the new seal, a better way to go anyhow IMHO. New seal can't be used on the old windshield either.
