Windshield Trim question 900 1995

I had the windshield replaced a couple of months ago. They did not do a great job putting the cowl back and I had to redo to get it to fit into the clip in the centre.

Two weeks ago, I was doing the spring cleaning thing and noticed that the passenger side window trim is coming away from the windsheild at the cowl for only about 3 inches. Of course no one else notices but I do.

I understand that there are clips there, but how do I get the trim off to chekc the clips or reseat the trim? Maybe the clips are broken, either way I cannot tell without knowing how to remove.

Grateful for any asistance.

Thanks

chris

Windshield Trim question 900 1995

The clips slide up and down along the length of the trim, pushed by a taped putty knife. I would take this back to the shop and tell them to fix it.

Windshield Trim question 900 1995

Thanks for the advise. I figured it is not worth taking back to Standard Auto glass, since they are about 45 minitues away. Plus if it is simple, I would rather do myself and then I also learn something new about my 940. If the clips are broken then its another story....

So, sorry to be a pain, but I would be greatful if anyone knows how to remove the trim.

Thanks

chris
