Direct Port Injection on a B20?

direct port injection is when the injectors fire directly into the combustion chamber after the intake valve has closed, instead of regular port injection where the injectors fire from the intake into the open intake valve. Has anyone ever modified a b20 head forthis setup?

And now for something completely different.

It's called Direct Injection (DI), not Direct Port Injection. It's not fired into the port, it's fired directly into the cylinder. Just a point of clarification.

It's not only a lot of work to modify the head, you have to find the right high pressure injectors and then you have to be able to provide super high pressure. Not cheap or easy.
