Replaced cap and rotor- car now dies 900

Hi All - I have a 95 940 turbo that runs like a champ. That is until I changed the rotor and dist. cap. Now the car will fire up and idle smoothly as it used to. However, after 30-60 seconds the engine stumbles and the car then dies. If the car is hot then it is harder to start. I put the old parts back on and it does the same thing. I also happened to run some amsoil engine clearer through before I changed the oil. I put a new filter on before I did this to trap any contaminants. Could this have clogged something up? Just not sure as I did the oil first and then the cap and rotor. But the engine ran just fine while running the cleaner through. Everything points to the distributor - but I have quadruple checked everything. Going to the shop tomorrow if I can't figure this out - so any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks

I would guess a bad coil wire or whatever functions as such, I am not familiar with the ign electricals in the later turbos ,I have an na Regina. Or a bad crank position sensor (rpm sensor) or it's wire/connector.
