control arm mounting bracket bolt

I located a clunking in the front end to be a loose front control arm mounting bracket bolt. The mounting bracket that is shaped like a cup and has three bolts that tie into the chasis. I went to go tighten the bolt and it just spins freely without tightening. It seems the thread on the chassis is stripped. Any suggestions as to what i do in this situation?
thank you,
Daniel

On one of the bolts yyou can't access the backside of the hole. Naturally, this hole was stripped on our '88 244GL. I drilled out the hole to the next size up, tapped it, and used a bigger bolt.

I drilled a hole thru the outside flange as near as I could get to the bad one (which broke off), and used a nut and bolt.

Can't say this was permanent as the car was only here for a short while. But it will be back in a few weeks, so I'll double-check it.
