91, 940SE coolant 900

Hi
Have 91 940SE. Had coolant loss problem but could not find it. It leakes only when after driving at least 20-25 miles. Found it yesterday. There is lot of pressure build up in the system and a hose going from the coolant resevoir to the turbo got swollen and saw dripping from there. Please advise me if there is something got blocked that should release the pressure after certain limit. I released the pressure by opening the resevoir cap little bit and the leak was gone and swollen hose also got releived. Any advice appreciated as always.
Thanks

I DID MY COOLANT SYSTEM OVERHAUL 2 YEARS AGO, VOLVO OE HOSES, WATER PUMP,
HEATER VALVE (IMPORTANT TO TO OE), AND BLACK FCP CAP, WORKS GREAT.

I'd replace the expansion tank (coolant res) cap, it may not be releasing excess pressure. Use the lower pressure black cap instead of the green. fcpgroton.com has them or at greater expense your Volvo dealer. Some auto parts stores may stock the right cap. That hose leak needs attention, perhaps a good time to replace all hoses, belts, T-stat, waterpump, T-belt depending on how old they are and how many miles on them. Have you seen any indication of oil scum floating in the expansion tank? Excessive cooling system pressure can come from a blown head gasket and that often shows as engine oil (and bubbles when running) in the coolant tank. Do replace that cap right a way. Hope this helps.
