Yes, there ia another leak problem commonly in the area of the windshield. There are two small holes (I think there are two) which drain water which gets under the rubber windshield surround. Note that the rubber around the winshield does not seal against water, it is for looks. Under the rubber is a channel for water and the small holes drain this channel.
When water goes into these holes, it enters an internal drain section in the cowling which drains down to the front body drains under the A-pillar, just forward of the front door. When you run a water hose into the air intake, you should see water drain out this drain on each side of the car. If it doesn't, take a wire and try to open the drains. Water could be backing up and running into the cabin.
Even if the drains are open, there are still places for this leak to happen. Inside the front cowling, there are a number of pinch-welds where many pieces of the body come together. You can't see them but you can feel a few if you reach way up under the windshield on each lower outside corner. There's no way to seal these welds. BTDT
I finally got the leaks in my 240 stopped when I had a windshield shop fill the drain channel under the windshield rubber with urethane caulking. Not an elegant fix but it worked. Good luck, I spent two years stopping all the leaks in my '86 245 only to have my daughter wreck the car (sob).
