I have a 88 760T (261K+) and am seeking the trim for the windshield and also the 'insulation' mounted to the underside of the hood...

Call Voluparts in Atlanta. I have dealt with them for years and they are good. They sell both new and used parts and will also provide suggestions and helpful hints.

Pick and pull yard. Not exactly rare cars or items, although I know nothing about the ws trim and its re-use in a 7-series.

usually the plastic clips bust and they're cemented under the windshield. Oh, joy.
