Hose to Washer Fluid Resevoir 900 1995

I was filling the washer fluid resevoir and when I got up about half way it started to pour out from a hose that connects to the resevoir at about the middle of the tank. It looks like other hoses connect lower down, so I am guessing this is the hose for the rear and the others are for the front? The hose is split where it connects to the tank. What is involved in replacing this hose?

If you are lucky, there may be slack enough so you can cut off an inch or so and just push the fresh section back on the fitting. If I remember correctly, the hose goes to the outlet of the pump that is mounted in a rubber gromet to the container. You may have to take the air cleaner housing out in order to gain enough room to do the work. (My work in that area was to replace the pump for the rear after its plain steel shaft rusted and seized.)

Otherwise, I believe the hose runs across the front of the car and up to a filter mounted on the passenger's side fender. A new length of hose that long would still be cheap but replacing it, I would guess, would be about an hours worth of work.

Alternativley, a short section of new hose with some kind of connector spliced into the old hose could be a satisfactoy solution.
