I'm afraid I'll be of no help with replacing the screw, however, if it is one of the really long tensioning bolts that run parallel to the belts, I think people frequently break those, then simply lever the item so that the belt is taut, then lock down the bolts (prependicular to the belts) to hold the item in place. I know I've done it with the alternator, but nothing else so far.
As for the hose you've described, it sounds like the hose that makes a sharp bend is the one that leaves the plastic air intake tube, and runs down to the Idle Air Controller Valve (look up IAC for more reference). Should be an easy hose to replace, as there's the clamp you can easily see up at the throttle body, and then runs down to a cylindrical object underneath the intake manifold, I believe that is connected with a hose clamp (either use a screwdriver, or probably an 8 mm wrench or nut-driver to loosen.) use a flashlight. will be even easier if you already have the throttle body off to clean out the nipples. The dealer (or as I like to think of it as, the official volvo sanctioned ripoff joint) will have this tube, or you could probably get one online, try FCP Groton. If that hose is bad, you might also consider checking the one that leaves the IAC as well.
make sure you clean the flame trap and check the associated lines and hoses too.
