Main fuel pump Volvo 265 to work with B280E engine (760)?? 200

Hello Everybody!

I have a question, I want to run a B280E with LH-jetronic (from a Volvo 760, 1987) in my Volvo 265 GLE (1979). If I use the main fuel pump from the 760 can I use my original pre-pump used with the K-Jetronic system?

Kind regards,

Ferenc

That sounds like an interesting engine swap. Let me know who it turns out. I was thinking about doing the same swap for either my 79 264GL or the 79 262C. Thanks for your time.

Sincerely,

Thanks for the replies so far, I will give those interested a full story with pictures of this conversion.
I now have all the things necessary for this conversion:

-Drive axle of a manual 4 speed Volvo 164 (the front part)
-Wiring harness of the Volvo 760 GLE (1987). It is quite easy to seperate the
relevant circuit from the total harness (I would recommend having a Haynes
manual nearby!)
-Modified original exhaust

I am planning to do this conversion in a few months.

Cheers,

Ferenc
