Chuck's right, if the 760 has a B230, then it's a 760 Turbo, so it's really a B230FT. Otherwise it's a 760GLE, with a B28 or B280, depending on year. Some folks swear the B280 is a fine engine that cured the problems of the earlier B27/B28 beasts. OK, fine, but I don't want to own one.
If it's a 760T equipped with B230FT, then the trans is a Aisin-Warner AW71. The driveline should be identical to a 740T of the same year. If it's a 1989 760T it might have a cool thing called Turbo Plus, giving about 20 more horsepower.
Body design is a bit different after 1987, with the 760 becoming a different car from the 740. The earlier 760s share most of the bodywork with the pre-1990 740.
The 88-up 760s gain a different hood, hidden wipers, a more curved protruding nose, different lights, corner lamps, and bumpers. The sedans get independent rear suspension and the dash and wiring change completely- the fuse panel is moved from center console to the end of the dashboard.
Ultimately this car evolved into the 940SE and the 960 starting in 1991 and 1992 respectively.
