The SRS light on my '91 240 stays on after I start the car. How can turn it off?

Might want to check the connection. It is yellow, underneath the carpet on the side of the transmission hump directly below your right knee. My light stays on because I have this disconnected as I was working in the dash area (safety measure). Good luck.
