Hi Mike

I just replaced mine recently. The rubber wiper is bonded to the black metal trim strip, which is held in place by some barbs on it that slide over a lip on the door. You will need to remove your door mirror and roll the glass all the way down. I had removed my inner door panel while doing some other repairs, which made it easier to see the outer wiper. I used a screwdriver and carefully pried the strip up from the inside. Then just put the new one on and carefully tap it down making sure it is seated properly.

You might be able to remove it from the outside without going through all this without doing any damage...maybe someone else has done this & will respond.

Good Luck!
Danny Mac

Replaced mine on my 245. Basically, it's as described. If you really want to figure out how easy it is without any possibility of damage to your car, just try it out on a car at the boneyard. You'll see it's pretty easy. The more difficult part is finding new rubber for a reasonable price.
