Hi everybody...Can anyone recommend a timing belt brand besides the original Volvo ? What do you think about Continental brand versus Gates ? Thanks.

    I always use Continental belts in my cars, and they fit well, seem to last a long time and have correct markings on them for alignment. The only downside is that you don't get the nice Volvo foil sticker to remind you when it was done. It's a 50000 mile belt as with the OEM belts. My experience: they'll go at least twice that far, as long as they are not oiled down by a cam seal leak.
