dumbish question...I'm replacing the intake gasket on my son's car (85), the old gasket is wet with gasoline.

Normal?

    normal-i doubt it. pull a vacuum on the fuel pressure regulator. if the thing is shot, it will pull gas out, instead. if that's ok, then maybe the injectors are leaking after the car is shut off. good luck, chuck.
