Timing a 86 200

Tried to check timing on my 86 after puting new timing belt on. No marks that I can see on the crank pulley?

I like that picture, Erling. Is it in the Gallery here?

What's good is that it shows the need to wrap a new belt up around the crank sprocket, if starting the installation at the double (II) belt mark.

I do it that way, and when the belt mark is right, I wedge a wooden taper under the sprocket to keep the belt meshed, since it will "unwrap" when I let go.

Timing a 86 200

Should be a fine line about as wide as a .7 mechanical pencil lead. Very hard to see unless someone has rubbed chalk in it or painted it.
