Center console / armrest question 140-160 1969

Hi all,
Does anybody know if the 140 center console(I think there are two types) with the locking armrest will fit in a '69 164 automatic? It seems to me that the "hump" in the 164 would be in the way, but I don't want to buy a console to find out for sure. Hey, George, you own both cars, what do you think?
