I am having some trouble with my rear locks. When I go to lock my doors the front doors lock fine, but my rear doors do not. One sorta goes down, while the other does not go down. Then sometimes they both go down or partially down no problem. Even to manually push them down there is some resistance. Do they need oiled? Even when you go to lock them and they don't go down you can hear that they are trying to go down.

If only my rear locks are not working what should I do? I didn't see anything in the FAQ.

Welcome to the club, I have had the same problem with my 940SE sedan. Driver's rear door lock would work intermittently. Took off the panel and couldn't find and reason for the lock not working. Sometimes the passenger side read door lock won't work. Now the locks work almost all the time and I haven't done anything. Usually I lock the doors by opening the back door drivers side and push down the lock for the driver's side. Now most of the time all the locks work as they should. Sometimes I have to pull up and push down the lock a second time if one of the locks doesn't go down the first time. This also applies if I use the key. I just have gotten in the habit of looking at all the locks before I leave the car.

I changed out the relay when this problem surfaced right after I bought the car two years ago, but that made no difference. I didn't think it would but you never know. The locks on my 940SE wgn work just like their suppose to.
