ABS light ON... 700 1990

Can you tell me were the brake control module fuse, main relay fuse and pump motor fuse are located in 1990 740 turbo for ABS system.

Don't know if it will help, but check the FAQ 700 section for info on ABS. I found out recently that the ABS light was on a car I looked at (90 GLE) because the ABS sensor at the wheel get dirty and gives a reading as though there is a problem..The owner of the car I looked at also believed it was a bad sensor, not an ABS brake problem....

ABS light ON... 700 1990

A common, free fix for ABS light troubles is to clean the front wheel sensors. They are magnetic and pick up particles of iron from the road and the brakes. Pull them out the back of the backing plates, and clean them off by wrapping them in masking tape, which works nicely to remove particles.
This fixed about 1/2 of the cars we saw at the shop with similar symptoms.
Beyond that, it gets more expensive.
