ECU TEST 700 1988

Can anyone tell me the procedure for testing the ECU?
Thanx for your time.

there's 35 cavities in the connector, something like 25 or 30 wires. too much to ask here, maybe. check the reference section of the library. they might have PRO manuals that would help. this assumes the harness is ok and not rotting apart.

or, you could post symptoms and maybe something will jump out. the lh2.2 ecus are NOT known for going south like the lh2.4s do. but, they do fail once in a while. good luck, chuck.

I'd guess the most often used procedure for testing ECUs is substitution of a known good one. I have this funny scenario in mind where someone driving a similar car approaches you in a commuter parking lot to ask "would you mind if we swapped computers for a few minutes?"
