Someone mentioned that they are discontinuing this product but the question remains what is it use for??

    It is (or was!) perhaps the finest spray lube on the market, making WD40 resemble rat piss. Use it in locks, hinges, bicycle and motorcycle chains, retractable antennas: anyplace you need to deposit a very high quality lubricant with an aerosol carrier.

    Mobil really screwed up the marketing for this and as a result it is departing. I hope someone brings it back.

      Mobil really screwed up the marketing for this and as a result it is departing. I hope someone brings it back.

      In case they don't bring it back, I ran down to the local Big Lots store and bought out all their remaining shelf stock (7 cans) for $1.25 each. Mobil decided to sell off their remaining inventory to the nationwide Big Lots chain stores, and this is where you'll find the last of them.         The spray was discontinued a while back. I did stop by the nearest Big Lots today and did not find any Mobil 1 products on the shelves. $5 ratchets, yes. Eighty-nine cent light bulbs, yes. One fifty mini cans of P'Blaster, yes. Mobil 1 anything, nope.

        Oh well.

          I also went to two Big Lots here in Houston, TX and found no Mobil 1 Synthetic spray.
