'89 745t tilting to driver's side? 700 1989

For some reason my 745t is tilting to the driver's side -- according to my measurements it is 1" lower than the passenger side.
Is there some common reason they do this? Is it the struts or broken springs?
Thanks!!!
Dan

Is your 745T equipped with the Nivomat/IRS rear suspension package?? The Nivomat package includes a soft coil spring combined with a self-leveling shock. When the car sits for awhile, it will sag 1-2" until driven again for a few miles. The Nivo's will then build back up again to a normal ride height. If one has failed, it will obviously not build back up to the correct ride height. Then again, it could be a sagging spring as well....

First guess is a sagging/broken spring.

I also have my driver's side sagging lower than my passenger side.
It can not be my springs because I just purchase brand new IPD lowering springs that lowered the car 1.5" and it had the same results as the old stock ones??

      I think its the shocks?
