Got a water leak into my '87 744 pass. side footwell. I can see a corrosion track on the galvanized ECM mount. It comes out of the flange of the blower motor above it. How does it get into the airbox the blower is mounted in?

    You mention water or is it coolant? If the former and if the car has air conditioning then the drain hose that transports condensation from the evaporator to the outside of the car may be blocked.
