Just bought a 91 turbo se today, it's not home yet though. 126k auto, green/tan leather, minor body damage. Car runs and rides well, although left rear suspension hangs a little lower than the right side, car has IRS. Do all the SE's have a Nivomat susp. There is no suspension setting button present in the car. Any ideas/suggestions why one side would be lower than the other... TIA for your help........... Tom Wasney 27940aholic

ipdusa.com sells the anti-nivomat suspension. arent nivo shocks really pricey?

Generally when a Nivomat shock goes bad the body will literally be below the top of the tire. Just sitting a little low , but above the top of the tire, yea the shock may be worn but not shot. There will be some small differences between the sides at least that's the case on my 940SE.

all se's are nivomats cars. there is no suspension button. nivomats compensate by themselves for any weight changes. you have a bad shock on the lower side. if you replace 1, the other will be lower. replace both rear shocks. good luck, chuck.
