oil consumption, what i found... 1800 1973

the breather hose from the oil cap to the injection manifold. i removed it from the oil end and blew in it...no flow. i removed the hose from the injection end and the tube proved to be clear. the little fiting on the manifold was clogged shut. easy to clean. might have to replace the valve cover gasket, hopefully not the head gasket....anyway, its a simple check. helps a lot if you like the taste of motor oil(yuck!).

    Happens all the time on that kind of fitting.
    I drilled the one on my B20 to 1/16" and the one on my B30 to 3/32".
    Had to do a bit of idle adjustment but they don't get stopped up as bad
    or as quickly.
