544 drive shaft center support bearing gromet 444-544

I recently crawled under my 544 to investigate a sound ive been getting and found i need new "gromets" or bushing for the center support bearing. I ordered them from Swedish classics and just recieved them. Which way do they go? Thick side forward? any help would be great thanks

      I put them in thick side forward. Not because that is the way they are supposed to go, but because mine tend to pop out of their holder occasionally and installing them that way means they then just dangle there instead of falling off, never to be seen again.
