Cruzin Performance Injector Data 140-160

Well I don't know if I should be happy or sad. My injectors turned out to be near perfect, but I spent 57.55 to find that out =) Though I'll gladly do it with my next set of injectors just to have that peace of mind (spray pattern is better now though). For anyone who has the injected models and wants to compare numbers mine can be reached

Cruzin Performance Injector Data (Again) 140-160

Sometimes the bugs on this board are highly annoying so lets try this again.

For anyone who has the injected models and wants to compare numbers mine can be reached Here I was very suprised to read what the flow rate was on them. From the information I've read about the bosch 036 injectors I thought they were in the 37lb/hr flow range and according to this they are nearly 50. Either way looks like I won't need any new injectors unless I take my engine over 400 horsepower and somehow I don't really ever see that happening unless I want to go out in a blaze of glory and engine innards.

Cruzin performance tests at 43 psi. Yours operate at 28 psi so that is
why their numbers are so high.

Although you can't see it, your injectors are a LOT cleaner and less likely
to stick either open or closed than before and you also got new seals with
the process, so you got a pretty good deal in my book.
(You also now KNOW what you have. Before you could only guess.)

Is it possible that the injectors were tested at a higher fuel
pressure than the d-jet system normally operates at? I think I
remember reading that the k-jet system does operate at a higher
presure but that kinda makes sense.

Regardless, good news. Impressive that these antiques still work
so well. But that's why I like these bricks. Good steel and good
innards put together well and with good design and engineering.
