CBV Hose 700 1988

I am looking for the CBV hose on my 1988 744 TIC. I tried searching for previous posts and one post said to find the vaccuum hose that goes over the valve cover (on a 1990 model). On my car, there aren't any hoses going over valve cover. So, which one is my CBV hose? If you have a picture that you be great (I would take a picture, label the hoses A,B,C, etc. for easy identification, and post it but my camera grew legs and walked away).

Thanks,

Eamon

On the mitsu turbo the CBV is located on the actual turbo itself. If you are facing the engine the CBV is on the front right bottom corner of the turbo housing if I remember correctly. Look for a vacuum hose around there that goes off and connects with the throttle body... it may go around the back of the engine, etc., but I would think it SHOULD go over the crankcase to escape the exhaust manifold heat as quickly as possible (massive exhaust heat = bad for hoses).

On the garret the CBV is a separate unit made by Pierburg. Its positioned up by the fan and radiator, at the left side of the front of teh engine.

If you have Mits. turbo just follow it from bottom of turbo(small hose going to a diaphram type unit) should got towards throttle body. May have a t fitting which goes to EGR unit if equiped and or boost control unit.
