i am going to resolder my Fuel pump relay, is there an easy way to remove the plastic cover? Also i noticed a little corrosion on the connections. Is there a good way to clean out the plug that connects to the relay?

    Couldn't be easier.

    On the bottom (where the connectors extend through the brown phenolic), you'll see that small tabs on the plastic cover snap over the phenolic. Pry them back over the phenolic using a small screwdriver and the plastic cover will slide back.
