Ideas on windshield repair/replacement? 1800

The windshield on my '71 P1800 has a crack from top to bottom, and some discoloration I can't get out. I assume this means I MUST get a new one (can't repair this, right?). None of my local guys (Ann Arbor, MI) including Swedish Engineering has replacement glass. Any ideas? Thanks for your help in advance!

    Hello

Your crack can be repaired! I own a windshield repair buisness in Quebec( drive up and I will repair for cost!!!, anything for a fellow brickboarder) You can visit my website to see what a crack looks like repaired( www.repare-brise.net )If you go to glassmechanix.com they can refer you to a local repair-person that can repair your crack.

    Merci

    Yvan

Don't forget a new gasket. Foreign Autotech has them. This is not a job for a novice and better left to professionals. It takes very little effort to crack a windshield while installing.

It was about four years ago, but I purchased a new windshield (tinted) directly from a local Volvo dealer (Don Beyer Volvo, Falls Church, VA). You will want to get new windshield molding as well.

Call the dealership back and help them with the part number-they probably threw their books out in the '90's, so they have no way to look it up.
    They are available.
    Clear-683894- early 1800
Tinted-683726- probably correct for your '71
