My 17 yr old son today rear ended a car at low speed and broken the center volvo grille and the plastic in holder in back of it that holds it. The light wasnt broken but pushed backwards and the plastic piece that holds that needs to be replaced. FCP and my other sources dont seem to supply those 2 pieces in back of the grille and light(whatever they are called). Any suppliers other than the volvo dealer carry these?? The grille I know I can get from FCP..Thanks JOHN

Check Volvoworld.com, they're one of the banner ads on the brickboard. They have new and used grille pieces.

Good p.m. These plastic pieces can be had from a salvage yard. No one sees them, so they don't have to be new. The cost will not be much at all.

I believe that you can take these parts from any 940, from 1993-95, sedan or wagon, so long as they are set up the same as yours, i.e., either with fog lamps (next to the grille) or without fog lamps next to the grille.

Find a salvage yard that allows you to remove the parts. That saves you $$$, and lets you make sure that the part is in good order. For example, a rear-ended or t-boned car should have these parts in usable form.

You'll need the usual tools - screw drivers and socket tools - to remove these parts.
