    I just figure either people are willing to pay so they don't have to wait, or PT Barnum was right...

    About a month ago a 100K badge went for $65. I never laughed so hard. Does the word SUCKER come to mind. BTW 1500 miles until I send for my 300K badge.

      I have seen some Ebay auctions for which one can conclude only insanity or (more likely) self-dealing to create an aura of collectibility and rising prices.

    Hmm. I've filled out the forms for a "free" high mileage badge. 5 times. Tried it at the dealership, tried it online, tried it at a different dealership, tried it online a couple more times, tried it at a dealership in another state.

    Maybe all those bidders are just trying to get the thing that Volvo promises but doesn't always deliver?

      I've had the same experience. I have a 740 with 200k and an 850 with 100k. Submitted the paperwork 9 months ago and haven't heard a thing. Why have such a program if they aren't going to follow through?

      I got the 100k badge for my 744 online at the owners connection website, it arrived about 6wks later. Same thing with the 200k badge about 6 months ago.

      I have heard lots of complaints but can only speak from my own experience and
      think this guy is conning people who don't know they're meant to be free.
