I'm going to put some remote mirrors on the 91 740. There doesn't seem to be a 91 remote option, but there are earlier ones. Anybody know if a 1988 pair of remote mirrors will fit a 91?

    Yes. On the west coast of the US, I have never seen a 700/900 chassis which did not come pre-wired for electric mirrors.

    Some other markets may not be, but the US/Canada cars are pre-wired. The electrical connectors changed from 1987 to 1988, so you should be okay.

      John, thanks for the info. I guess I'm worried because later models of 740s have a different part number than the 88. I don't know if I should get earlier ones than my 91 or later ones?

        I don't know why the different part number unless it is for the convex glass on the passenger side mirror. 1988 and later should plug in directly.
