Does anyone know what the average life of alloy wheels? I like the 16" Hydra's but they are a almost 15 years old now.

Alloy gets brittle with metal fatigue, not with age like plastic.
So the life depends on how much they've been driven on and how
many curbs and potholes they have whacked. If you feel they're
worn out, please give them to me for proper disposal ;-)

Hydras always wear out in about 15 years. I've got some Virgos which never wear out that I'll trade you for. Don't think just do it. :-)

If they haven't been abused by curbs and potholes they will last indefinitely, I have some 24 year old Virgos that are mint and have seen some that are junk.
