bad grounds 700 1987

I have a 1987 740 GLE that i have been driveing all year and i do like the car. but now I am starting to have some problems with it
1 semi passed me and my wippers made one pass
2 fuel and temp gauges will not work some times ( drive down road and it will work)
3 driveing down the road car will miss and I can hear the fuel relay in the center of the dash clicking
4 this morning my heater blower did not work and it was a cold ride to work
this car is in good shape and I love driving it.
I work at a auto part salvage yard and this car came in with bad engine. I dumped a low mileage used 4 cylinder in it and down the road i went.
I think I have some bad grounds I read about bad grounds in one part of this sight but i can not find it now ??
thanx

In addition to the other advise given: When better weather comes, and you have some time, equip yourself with various convenient abrasives (e.g., throw-away nail files, abrasive erasers, emory paper, etc) and some electronic contact cleaner, and start going through the car cleaning every contact and connector you can reach. Sometimes, just pulling the connector apart and pushing it back together a couple of times will give you a clean contact point. Also have on hand some good quality electrical tape and a paint-on or spray-on insulation material. You'll never know how many midnight breakdowns and frustrating malfunctions this will prevent, because the ones due to poor contact will not happen. Also a good learning tool about where things are and how they relate, if you have the wiring diagram along and take a few extra minutes to check it from time to time.

The very first ground I would check is the battery. I have seen battery cable grounds corruded inside the sheathing where you never see it. Gives all kinds of electrical problems. I would replace the cable. They're cheap.
