I want to remove the rear seat in my 1988 244 to prewire the trunk for speakers. How does it come out, can't believe it's that hard, I must be missing something. Also do you know if there is a whole alredy made for the speaker wire to go through the trunk, that might have been used if mine would have been a GL with rear speakers?

    from the front of the rear seat there are two clips attached to the seat that clip onto the body. using a flat blade screwdriver as a lever detqach either side of the seat and it should allow you to remove it.
