With the same year and model as your car, and living in the same geographical area, I will tell you what I have done and use; in addition my car stays outside 365 days a year. The scrapers on the car are in very nice condition both inside and out. When washing the car, I always make sure to run the cloth, or sheepskin glove, along them; I find that in the rainy season the can grow green stuff quite quickly if left alone. Using a cloth I also run my fingernail along the very top edge of the scrapers, this thin top edge seems to be the first place for dirt, algae, etc to gather and set up home. Although others have said not to use Armorall, not knowing any better it is what I have used all these years and I will put my car's scrapers up against anyone elses!
Other pieces of trim that I have to keep on top of are the body trim pieces along the sides of the car. What with being clunked many times over the years in parking lots and with age and UV rays they did not look that good and I wanted to replace them. A couple of years ago I bought some Black Again from IPD; it works beautifully, and the trim pieces are quite acceptable again. Also does a good job on the bumpers and mud guards.
