Ebay... 140-160

If anyone out theres in the California Bakersfield area, this might be worth considering... Too far away for my tastes (fortunately... otherwise it'd surely end up in my driveway)

Looks like its just about a driver, and a great candidate for restore or modify.... Odd part is the lack of a tach... every one I've seen has either a gt gauge set or a dash tach. But they never worked anyhow.

A similar car (same color in and out) in a junkyard gradually donated most of it's parts to my old '63 122S back when I was in high school. In the end the 122S had the 142E's:
    - radiator
    - engine (kept the B18's HS6 SU carbs)
    - transmission (m41)
    - driveshaft
    - rear axle
    - GT cluster (took a little creative rewiring and trimming of the cluster)
    - gas tank (larger, and got rid of the eternally leaking gooseneck 122 gas tank filler
    - front seats
    - steering wheel (some after market wheel)

The 122 was greatly improved with all these bits on it.

Notice that this is an authentic B20E engine - only sold in US in
71 and 72. They were NOT special order in California - the E engine
was THE engine available in Cal that year.

Bfl is even further from me than from you!

Indeed... the right B20 if its still got the original motor... And of course, it shoudl also have the Jtype M41, and who knows what else. Them things were pricey new, and every one of 'em I've had was pretty loaded. It was one of them that provided my ltd slip. And about everything else currently on/in/under my wagon except the engine. of course, I'm keeping that old B20e covered out back for a rainy day.

Hope the thing finds a good home!

      Also, 140-160

it isn't even a original California car. The last # in the first section of the vin # is a 3, which stands for LHD non-cali, if it was a 4, it would be a LHD Cali car... (www.140-klubben.org/estatisti.html) If I had money, and the price stayed below $500, i would most certainly get this car, that is, if everything that he says is true.(well, everything that he knows to be real...) Well, my credit card limit is $3000... I could sell my other 142... NOT!!! but i do wish i could have it... :-)

          No, 140-160

It'd be better to have a 68 and a 71 in my driveway... just kidding :-)

          Kyle, wishes he had money....

...if I have my way, it will go to a good home (with a 122S rally car, and lots of original R Sport parts to go on it...)

So are you saying you have a 122s rally car?

Pictures? How is it setup? I've thought about turning our 122s in to a rally cross car (shh don't tell my wife)

              WELL, 140-160

If that's the case, I'll just have to steal it from you when you get everything on it.... Hehehe... Well actually, are you really considering getting it? Like, is it in your locality? :-) Just wondering
              Kyle
