Alpine chm-s601 900

Hi all, Was taking apart my Dads 92 960, so I can put all the good stuff in my 740. I found the cable for the CD in the right rear compartment. Will I be able to just plug that into the alpine changer? I know I have to run power to it just would like to know if the chm-s601 would work. Thanks all for some great info, you all have a better 2004.

Go to the Crutchfield web site and search for cd changers that wiil fit the 960. See if the changer in question is listed.

You shouldn't have to run power to it -- power should come through the cable. At least that's how my Alpine changer connected to my CR-814.
