I know this serves absolutely no purpose, and enhances nothing at all, but after 23 years... 23 long years... I decided it was time for a change...

So, while working behind the dash last night, I made some changes!



So what is your opinion? I wanted to put the "FASTEN SEAT BELTS" light in the center, but I thought that would put too many switches next to each other.

Oh well, pointless, I know, but I felt like getting re-accustomed to my car.

    Looks nice and clean. Does your Volvo have a tach? Does it have outside rearview mirrors that adjust from the inside? The 1979 245DL I am parting out has those items. email if interested. There is an ad in the Classifieds.

      Have the Tach.

      I ditched those inside adjustable mirrors and picked up a nice pair of Chrome mirrors from a '75 or '76 240. I like the way those things look a lot better (plus, they stick out furter, and they are bigger). They also stay in place a lot better I've found.

      If you have some chrome mirrors that are adjustable from the inside though...

      I could probably use those black triangles from the mirrors though...
