Carello? H4/H1s with throw more photons than you would believe. Highly recommended, IF that is what you are talking about. Carello makes both the Euro H4 and the wimpy US lights for the 780 (not for other 7 series) for example, so I am not sure what you have in mind.

What makes the US 780 lights inferior comapred to their other models?

Sorry, I meant all US lights are inferior to the Euro version for every Volvo model. Not 780 specific, but if you have never seen the Euro 780 lights they are sweet in looks and function.
