IPD vs FCP Groton for front suspension bushings

I'm going to be purchasing the control arm bushings and washers for my 91 940SE. I'm a little confused on price differences between IPD's kits, which are $86 rubber and a little less for Polyurathane.
FCP Groton doesn't do a complete kit, but buying all the parts will only add up to around $35 total (Scantech)

Is there some difference in the quality of the parts?

I'm also curious about polyurathane. Is it good or better than the rubber bushings? I saw in the archives that some folks had trouble with steering geometry changes due to the PU being longer than the rubber ones.

Thanks!

Ben

IPD vs FCP Groton for front suspension bushings

Ben,
IDP and Groton sell the same bushings for different prices... so the choice is obvious (FCP). I use IDP when I want to upgrade something that just can't be found anywhere... like sway bars, seat foam, etc... Peace, Jon

That's what I was hoping to hear. Thanks!

Now, what about the polyurathane thing? Are they an upgrade in durability or performance, or are they just something trick to talk about at the Volvo rally?

Ben
