I got tired of the trunk whacking my head while putting in groceries, so I bought new struts from IPD. Can anyone direct me to a good thread that can tell me how to remove and replace these struts? Didn't get much help on the Brickboard search engine. My Maynes manual didn't help much either. Just how do I do it? Thanks!

    Luke:
    If they are for the wagon...piece of cake. If for the sedan...OOPS. You have to have a metal bracket that holds the new strut closed while you install it. Phone IPD on Monday and ask them how to get one of these brackets. Or how to make one up.

    Sorry, hit enter too quickly. For my wagon all you had to do was remove the retainer clip on the end closet to the window, and just unscrew the struts and thats it. Pretty simple!
