no way those calipers will go on my 59 544,am i to change the spindles ? 444-544

trying to put discs from a 122 on the 544...sounds easy but there is no way it matches up... help ! the calipers and rotor i took from a 67 122 wagon ,,are the wagon brakes different?awaiting your enlightening responses......kris

I never heard anybody say the 122 calipers match up to the 544 spindles(they don't).
You have to drill several new holes in the 122 caliper brackets and backing plates; the bolt circle is the same(fortunately; you can use one existing hole in each to locate the rest), but the spacing is different.
Wagon and sedan(and 1800S) calipers are the same.
